LabVIEW is an engineering software tool designed to develop systems and applications needed to test, measure, and manage a variety of processes. It provides quick and direct access to hardware and all necessary data. It is one of the basic tools that we encounter in advanced measurement systems and systems for managing complex processes. We also use it to design and simulate electronic systems of all kinds.

The software environment contains an extensive set of modules designed for a range of advanced processing of measured, simulated or generated data encountered in measurement processes. A host of dedicated tools allow the use of various complex approaches to solving the problems of analysis of measured data or synthesis of building blocks in the design of data generation.

The software environment offers a graphical programming approach that helps visualize the application programming process, including hardware configuration, measurement data, and debugging. This visualization also facilitates hardware integration regardless of the manufacturer, the development of algorithms for data analysis or synthesis, and the design of user interfaces.
